” Ce Tanto standard est fabriqué à la main dans du bois de hêtre provenant de forêts gérées de façon durable. Le bois de hêtre est particulièrement adapté aux armes d’arts martiaux car il est résistant aux chocs tout en ayant un poids modéré. Comme toutes les autres armes en bois présentées sur ce site web, ce tanto est fabriqué dans notre atelier du Périgord en France. Il est de forme classique, très polyvalent, et peut donc convenir à des pratiquants d’ Aikido, de self-défense ou à d’autres écoles d’arts martiaux.”

Japanese inscriptions on Bokken, Jo and Tanto are completely handmade with pirography. Inscriptions are oriented vertically.
On Bokken, Shoto and Tanto, they are made on the blade just before the handle (tsuka) and oriented from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. On Jo and Hambo they are made at the center.
We can engrave your name and/or firstname in katakana, or some martial or spiritual concept in kanji.
