Since 1998, Manmori has been designing and crafting wooden weapons for Japanese budo, including Aikido and Kendo, as well as for traditional sword schools such as Katori Shinto Ryu, Shinto Muso Ryu and Yagyu Shinkage Ryu.
In the workshop, each piece is shaped by hand according to the forms and requirements of these disciplines. Bokken, jo, naginata and other weapons specific to koryu traditions are the result of careful work where balance, correct proportions and attention to detail play an essential role.<br>
Far from industrial production, this craft approach places the practitioner’s feeling at the center, allowing for a natural and harmonious use of the body.
Today, Manmori weapons are used by many dojo and practitioners in France, throughout Europe and internationally.
